We had some good snorkel time yesterday and everyone enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking a bit in the waters in front of the resort.  We departed for the nesting beaches at 1700 and arrived around 1745.  On the way there, Nolan caught a Papio and they cooked it island style for our dinner.  It was really good!
We spent the night doing a lot of walking but we did not come across any nesting turtles.  We finally stopped monitoring at 0300 h because the tide was very low and turtles would not come out.  So, we have one turtle tagged and one night to get another one or two.  Nesting seem pretty slow this year, possibly because they say the nesting season started early and may be ending a bit earlier.. hence, fewer turtles nesting.
Unfortunately, we can do nothing to change this so we will hope that we are able to get something done tonight!
