1/15/2019 - Monday

Everyone seems to have had a good nights rest at the ABB house.  We didn't have anything to eat in the house because we got in so late last night that we decided to go in to town at 1000 h and get something and walk around Nadi town.  We started off with the big market and wander through the vegetable section, the Kava section and the fish section before moving on (at Justus' urgent suggestion) to find something to eat.  We ended up at a curry restaurant where we had some vegetarian curry, hamburger and a cheese sandwich.  Everything was good but the cheese sandwich left something to be desired according to Justus.

After lunch we wandered down to the end of Queen Street and looked at the Hindu Temple before turning back in to town.  Our dinner tonight is going to be toasted avocado sandwiches with an assortment of fruit, all purchased at the market.  At 1230 h we caught our taxi back to the house and settled in for a long wait until we go to the airport at 2100 h.  I don't think anyone is minding the down time... in fact I think most folks are napping right now as it is extremely quite here.  Oh yes, the electricity went off for 30 minutes or so and reminded us how nice (and necessary) the AC is at this time of year!
