1/12/2019

1/12/2019 - Friday

Picking up where we left off on Thursday (1/11/19):  We did not find any turtles during our last night on the beaches.  It seems that we were here a little too late this season to have lots of turtles to choose from so we will have to settle for the one that we got.

After returning at around 0330 hours this morning, we got some sleep in preparation to a 0900 departure for a boat trip around the island - playing tourist.  We departed with Nolan  at 0900 and made our way east around the tip of Moso, stopped in some caves, did a lot of snorkeling, had lunch on the beach, did some more snorkeling before returning to tranquility at 1530 hours.  In spite of our best efforts many of us suffered some degree of sunburn!
